Francine English is a graduate from the University of California, Irvine, with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Social Behavior. While studying at the university, Francine also studied ballet, modern, and jazz. Francine has been 
teaching ballet and jazz since 1991, primarily at Juline School of Dance in Modesto. She was a member of Bravo Repertory Dance Theater, now known as Central West Ballet, from 1988-1993.
Francine has studied modern dance with various teachers from 1987 to the present. She has trained with Lori Bryhni, Donald McKayle, and Kim Davis. She was also a member of a bay area modern dance company, Kim T. Davis Dance, from 1999-2000.
Francine was a dance director at a summer camp in Smithfield, Maine, where she was able to schedule classes, supervise and evaluate teachers, choreograph modern, ballet, and jazz, and to organize various dance productions. She has continued to develop these talents at St. Stanislaus Church, where she is currently beginning a dance ministry.
Francine was a teacher with SONdance ministries for six years, and took the last year off to have a baby and adjust to motherhood. She is very excited to be teaching at SONdance once again!
